Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run the service and respond to you:

• Account details: name, work email, company, designation, industry and country, given when you sign up or contact us.
• User records inside the service: technician and engineer names, roles, language preference and sign-off history on work orders.
• Device and usage data: browser type, app version, pages used and error logs, to keep the service working and secure.
• Photos and notes that your team attaches to work orders and assets.

Machine readings such as vibration, temperature, current and run-hours are covered separately in our Machine Data Policy.

How we use it

• To create your account and send login credentials.
• To assign and notify work orders, PM jobs and alarms to the right people.
• To provide support, onboarding and sensor fitting.
• To send billing notices and important service updates.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Sharing

We share information only with service providers that help us run Schafte, such as cloud hosting, email delivery and payment processing, under contracts that require them to protect it. We may disclose information when the law requires it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit with TLS and at rest. Access inside your account is controlled by role, and our staff access customer accounts only to provide support you have requested.

Retention

We keep account information for as long as your subscription is active. After cancellation, data is available for export for 30 days and is then deleted from active systems, except where we must keep billing records by law.

Your choices

• You can view and correct your profile inside the app.
• Account administrators can remove users and export data at any time.
• You can ask us to delete your personal information through the Contact Us page.

Cookies

This website uses a session cookie for form security checks. The Schafte app uses cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.
